
Fruit Description
The fruit is a hard, almost spherical covered berry, 6 - 8 cm in diameter, greenish or slightly yellowish when ripening approaches. When the fruit is completely ripe it is an intense orange and in most cases it presents whitish spots. The fruit has an average of 200-250 seeds inside. The aryl is composed of parenchyma that contains sugars and acidic principles that determine a sweet and very pleasant taste.

Use
Generally, the granadilla is consumed raw, for this, the shell is simply broken with the fingers and the pulp is eaten with a spoon. You can also get a rich drink, straining the pulp and adding water. Granadilla extract can be used to prepare ice cream, souffles, sauces and yogurt.
