Avocado: Origin

The avocado came to our lands between the years 1450 to 1475. It is believed the avocado production in Peru dates back to the 15th century, after the Inca conquest of the town called Palta. Peruvian mestizo chronicler „Garcilaso de la Vega“ recounts in his chronicles how Túpac Inca Yupanqui conquered the southern part of Ecuador, in which the native peopel from „Palta“ lived, which later led to the fruits name.

Use

1.They can be used to prepare different creams like „guacamole“, for instance.
2. It is used in an increasing number of dishes from salads and smoothies up to brownies.
3. For medicinal uses.
4. For uses in the cosmetics industry (beauty industry).
